Updated Schedule
Ceri and I have now received feedback on draft video and have understood and taken on board (as shown in blog post Draft Music Video Feedback) and are now planning for final filming dates to make these amendments.
Our plan is to split the filming into three more nights, one with just our artist, one with just our dancers and a final night with both. We believe this will allow us to make the most of our time and allow to focus on just filming one aspect of the video, which will hopefully help us complete filming to the best of our ability. This will also ensure that all solo shots of the singer and dancers and then the shots where they both together will be filmed in exactly the same conditions helping our music video to look more realistic.
We have also sourced more equipment to aide us with our filming, as as we have learn't from our feedback some of our shots are very static and simple. To deepen our shots and allow for seamless movement in the video creating interest in the video for audiences we will be using a dolly and a steady cam. We believe this will help us within filming, especially while filming the dancers. We are excited to try out these new methods.
Schedule:
Tuesday 7th November 2017: Filming for three hours just the artist.
Tuesday 7th-Friday 24th November 2017: Edit our video as much as we can in between filming days and then complete all editing by the 24th.
Wednesday 8th November 2017: Filming for three hours just the dancers.
Tuesday 14th November 2017: Filming for three hours both artist and dancers.
Tuesday 14th November-Friday 24th November 2017: Complete all editing and create finished video.
